Offering professional expertise in the art of trumpet playing, my approach follows an emphasis on the mental side. While it's important to understand the "nuts and bolts" of trumpet playing, a lot of what we do comes from emotion. Music is emotional - we can use past and present experiences to help the listener fully understand the composer's intentions by connecting the music to our lives. That, and air. Lots of air and breathing exercises.

My approach to teaching is to relate musical ideologies with trumpet pedagogy, and connect that with the students in a meaningful and educational way. Music is fun, and so is playing trumpet!
